Remote Meter Reading Service for Apartment Associations and Business Customers
We provide a comprehensive remote metering system for measuring electricity, water, heat and gas consumption and for the automated collection of metering data.
The service is suitable for apartment associations, business parks, shopping centres and manufacturing companies that want to eliminate manual meter reading and receive the required metering data automatically on a specified day each month. The service can also include system installation upon request.
The remote metering system is implemented within the customer’s own infrastructure and remains entirely the customer’s property. As a result, there is no monthly service fee for using the system. The communication method is selected according to the specific characteristics of the site and the existing infrastructure: Modbus or M-Bus is used for wired communication, while Wireless M-Bus or LoRaWAN technology is used for wireless communication.
At the heart of the system is a data collection device that automatically collects readings from the connected meters and transmits them to the agreed destination, such as the Korto platform or directly to the customer by email as an Excel or XML file. This eliminates the need for manual meter reading and ensures that metering data is available to the customer on time and in a consistent format.
The collected metering data can be used to calculate residents’ or tenants’ consumption, prepare bills and monitor consumption.
